Located in the southern end of Seville, this park is one of the wonders of the city and an absolute must for all visitors. Built in the 1920’s for an exposition, it was transformed into a magnificent and paradisiacal stretch of boulevards and elegant gardens. In the heart of the Parque lie fragrant orange trees, Mediterranean pines, delightful flower beds, palm trees, romantic ponds and graceful pavilions. The architecture is a mix of Art Deco and Mudejar styles and you will find that some of the buildings are quite sumptuous. The former grand mansions used for the fair are now museums ranging from archeology to Roman antiquities.
