Predominating the upper section of this town the Palace at one stage in its history was the center of the Taifa Kingdom. The town itself reflects the long presence of the Moors that can today be appreciated not only on the charming patios, but also in the horseshoe arches and whitewashed buildings.
This location is just a short drive from Malaga and Seville so travel to and from the Palace is quite simple.
